Offshore wind

The power output of turbines has increased dramatically, especially its impact is reflected in the modern equipment used for the construction of the “energy farms”.
Up from state-of-the-art carousels that are used to transport dozens of kilometers export cable length to vessels that can rise high above the water surface to place parts like rotor blades.
The desire to move further from shore to build wind farms, has resulted in new logistic solutions such as the use of large wind farm support vessels, containing not only luxury accommodation and high end workshops but also offering useful cargo space and
walk-to-work facilities.

Before the seabed can be started, a lot of preoperational work has been carried out. Such like trajectory studies, survey work and – in some areas- detected and removal of unexploded materials.
